Perfect Families return with a double single just in time for spring. After a three-year hiatus, a relocation away from their beloved Seattle music scene and plenty of life changes, the brothers are back with their unique brand of understated, lo-fi indie rock.

These two singles were recorded, produced, and mixed in their Los Angeles studio in 2021 and 2022. The release was delayed with good reason; both members focusing on side-projects (Joel Stanton, Goose Down) and lead singer Joel getting married, having two kids and eventually moving his family to Arizona. Life has been happening, but they're proud to finally get new music out into the world.

Growing into "real" adulthood has added a bit of lyrical wisdom and production maturity but the guys aimed to maintain a youthful musical approach by not over-cooking things. These songs can be compared to the work of Jay Som, Men I Trust, and Wild Nothing with some persistent hints of their northwest roots.
